THE WEEKENDERS GUIDE
Will everyone’s sleep gear fit?
Measure what you have before buying more. Use this sheet to check a layout, then try it in the actual tent.
Print this sheet and fill it in by hand. No information is stored or sent.
1 · Record the usable space
Tent/model:
Use one unit: □ inches □ centimetres
Usable width: Usable length:
Check the real floor shape, walls, dividers and doorway. Record unknowns instead of guessing.
2 · Measure each sleeping place
| Sleeper / pad or cot | Width, ready to use | Length, ready to use |
|---|---|---|
| 1. | ||
| 2. | ||
| 3. | ||
| 4. |
Total row width: Longest pad:
A row must fit both dimensions. Spare width is total leftover space; it does not prove there is a usable aisle. Tapered floors and raised cots need a real fit check.
3 · Try the arrangement
□ Each sleeper has room for head, feet, shoulders and bedding.
□ Everyone can reach the door with the bedding in place.
□ Wall slope, cot height and tent dividers have been checked.
□ Insulation information has been checked separately for the trip.
4 · Choose the next step
□ Keep existing setup □ Rearrange and recheck □ Compare a different size □ Need more information
